The 4th full-length studio album (5th release) from artisanal instrumental soundshape slingers I Think Like Midnight went through multiple gauntlets of fanged monsters, pandemic, police riots, climate nastiness, and incipient fascism to finally emerge burnished and shining for the listening pleasure of all those on planet Earth and any other ready and willing celestial bodies. Their most "rock" effort to date includes killer hooks, dulcet melodies, groovy grooves, and powerfully spot-on production by Jeff Zeigler (War on Drugs, Chris Forsyth, Kurt Vile, Mary Lattimore). It's the airbourne purple metal flake dune buggy of albums and we think it's darn swell.

I Think Like Midnight Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Super-melodic and original indie instrumental rock music, with quirky intelligent twists, guitar twang, and hints of Surf, Folk Rock, and Motorik. Tremendous driving music. Close cousins: Pell Mell, The Mermen, Luna, Television, Spoon, Yo La Tengo.
